But the question is on what? What should I focus on?
For the past few months, I have been watching my stats really close, just to see what is being read.
What I found was under Label - Gay is my most viewed area.
I read on a few other blogs and sites that having your site focus on one thing only.
But honestly, I do not think that I can only focus on just one thing. Cause I know to much about many different things.
I do not however know every thing. I tend to learn something new every day.
I was truly surprised that, the label-Gay, was at the top of the list.
I was even more surprised that my article Confession was at the top of the list. I have had a few comments, and a few interesting responses, via - email and IM's.
Hi Allen, great post and something I've struggled with too--wondering about narrowing the focus. I thought I was going to split my blog up into several "niche" blogs, and I still might--some day. I do have plans for one "niche" blog, but actually it will be a totally new focus.
ReplyDeleteJust the thought of splitting my blog up and moving the different posts around to the appropriate blog...all that work, yuck!
Anyway, I mainly just wanted to say, unless you are trying to make money (which is next to impossible unless you have thousands of ads being clicked daily), then I think your blog is fine with all it's topics.
I wouldn't change a thing...love your blog.
