On Monday one day that I took off, I spotted up in the tree this lizard. Its a bit larger than all others that I have seen here.
Next year I get 3 weeks. If this year is so hard to figure out then how am I going to act next year?
I am thinking about going back to my home state, Arkansas. I have tons of Cousins that I have not seen in years. But that cost money, and with gas prices on the rise, (almost $4.00 a gallon), I am not sure that is a good idea.
I need to plan a trip to go see my Dad, spend a few days with him. I want to go up to Disney World and visit some of my friends there too. I think a trip to see my father would be the best idea first. Then who knows, Maybe find a hotel down here near some attraction that I like and just enjoy the time.
Work has been going good. We have a new GM, he is quite young, only in his early 30's. He knows his stuff though. He seems to like me, and I guess that is a good thing. He told me I would be in a gray shirt with in 6 months.
Work really has changed a lot. My position is a greeter in front of the store. If you would walk into our store you would find me either greeting you or ringing you out at our registers. I stay at the front all the time.
That's nice that you get paid vacation. How fun to plan some time off! Your dad would appreciate seeing you, I'm sure (speaking from a parent's point of view!)
ReplyDelete@Pat, I think you are right, I think he would like to see me. I think that will be my first vacation. =o)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pat - - go visit Dad first. Also, look at a calendar for the year and start 'plotting' out some time off. I did that last week. Today is one of those days. Too bad I ended up with a sore throat and have to go to the doctor instead of vacationing!
ReplyDeleteWhen I am in Staples, I have noticed different shirts - - - mostly red - - - but did not know that the kind of shirt represented the level of management.
I'm happy to see such good things are happening to you.

Love those pics. I almost thought that was a baby alligator! Enjoy your vacation! Hope you go see your Dad and sneak off to Ybor City, while you're up there. The price of gas is going to keep a lot of people close to home, and there sure is a lot to see and do near you. Enjoy your weekend too!
