The Blame Game

Are there rules for this game? I am starting to feel like the fall guy. I mean when crap goes wrong, it seems like its my fault.

I received a text today :
You guys... I don't know what to say... Some one could have told me we were on our last toner! Now I have now bw. When u use the last or nearing the last of a supply, I am to be left a memo or something!

This text rubbed me wrong. Sorry but when I was in that position in Indiana, I went through the list and checked all my supplies, and order from list. Not what others told me. Chances were I would never receive a memo or it would get lost in the mix of things.

Since we are playing the game right now, lets see oh yeah, it seems to me that no one is really doing their closing job. I mean every time I close at night, I have to put out several cases of paper (15 cases) they weigh about 50 lbs each. I have to push them from the back of the store all the way to the front of the store. (no wonder my feet and knees hurts so bad)

Kevin, Michael and I went out this evening. It was nice, we haven't done that in a long time. We went to the library, block buster, and to Long Johns. Have you seen Worlds Greatest Dad? (with Robin Williams) It was a cool movie.

Have a great day,
Allen

It's always the case, Allen. When one employee excels above the rest, the other employees will push off their work onto him, then blame him when things go wrong. Don't let this happen to you.

It happens at our place all the time, too - - - even with signs posted everywhere in the rooms with our printers and copiers to tell people to report low stock.

(At yours and our place), it would be good to have someone assigned - - - or a shift assigned to inventory stuff each day - - - like a report that is turned in at the end of the day. Just remember - - -one day we ALL answer to the same BOSS - - - - keep your report as good as you can. HE knows and records it all. Stick to your high standards - - - and with a smile! I'll be praying for you for that.

You just keep doing a good job and it will pay off and your manager will notice.

Steven, It has worked out.

Larry, I understand that.

Miss Lynda, there is someone assigned to do that. He did come to me and tell me the next day that it was his fault.

Pat, I agree with you.
