Yes you read the title right, the university has chosen Ryan Allen the new Homecoming Queen. Ryan is a Drag Queen, and said that he just wants everyone to have fun.
Not all agrees with it, but most approve of it.

Sick for 4 days |
Just wanted to let you know I am still alive. I have been sick for the past 4 days. Sick enough to stay in bed.
I had a friend come over last night and he was talking about a survivle means if the shit hits the fan.
He said with all this that is happening then its going to get bad. Do you think its going to get that bad, or do you think our new president is going to pull us out?

I just wanted to say that I love you. That I miss you dearly. I know that you are in a better place now. I know that you had lots of pain and suffering while you was here for the past few years.
For those that did not know, my mom passed back in 1999. She was only 57 at the time. She was a good Christian woman.

I am so Tired |
For the past 3 months, I have for some reason, unknown to me, been a night owl. I cannot explain it. I stay up all night and sleep in the day. Its old really. So I decided last night or yesterday I would stay up until 9pm tonight, then go to bed and see if I can get back on a day shift. Nights alone are depressing.
I am also going to plan out my future, I guess when I have a clear mind, I can do that, cause right now, I just don't have that. I dont even think I could add 2+3.

Happy Valentine's Day |
I used to say the word "Love" all the time. No matter whom I was saying it to. Love this and Love that. I had used it so much that it became a 4 letter word with no meaning.
I had to get a meaning for me. So that when I used it, I knew what I was saying.
I now know what the word Love means. It means smiling, caring, trusting, honesty, friendship, communication, missing him when he is out of my sight, surprising him with flowers for no reason, foot rubs for when he gets home from work, having his favorite gaming site up and ready to play Valentine's Games, supper on the table and waiting on him, listening to him, play games and let him win once in a while, etc..
Just remember the next time you say "I love you" to someone, make sure it has meaning.

Depression Around the Corner? |
About once a month I go to the Grocery store. The customers were not smiling, it was like everyone was in there own little worlds. I even had a guy stop me and asked if the cheaper caned biscuits were as good as the name brand. I told him if it was for taste then buy the named brand. But if it was to be covered in gravy then buy the cheaper. He thanked me and I went back to shopping.
I was surprised to see this huge area just for Ramen Noodle Soup. The shelves was 99% empty.
The prices for food is still climbing.
Gas prices are up to $1.99 a gallon.
People are still loosing their jobs. There are a lot of car makers that are closing which is making other places close as well. The unemployment rate so far this month is 4.6 up from 4.5 last month, with 148,390 unemployed. That number is off, I am sure there are individuals like my self that has never filed for unemployment. So they don't know about me. Maybe they do. I am not sure, but I believe it to be a tad bit higher.
The closest town to where I live has a Dairy Queen that has been open since before 1970. Its now closed and for sale.
Getting an interview in Indiana is a task within its self. When you take your application to the manager and she says "I don't know when I will get to this, I have 3 stacks of applications on my desk". Once she said that, I quickly said I have restaurant experience. She said sorry but I have to go. She was not rude about it. I understand what she is going through, I have been in a position that me and 4 others had to interview hundreds of applicants.
The New Casino here in Indiana, had 5 hour lines for interviews, most of the time standing outside in the freezing weather. A spokes woman for the Casino said, "if they waited in the freezing weather, and came in here with a smile on there face, that they were going to be considered first."
Things looks grim for Indiana.

Happy Valentine's Day Logo |
I made this logo for Valentine's Day.
It took me 8 hours to complete it. I started this from scratch.
First was making the heart. It was a pretty simple project, if I could draw, while using a mouse. It took me a few tries before I finally had one I liked.
The next step was adding the colors.
After adding the color's to my heart, I then used a smudge tool, and started smudging.
This was the final heart.
When I was done with this, and looked at it, I thought it was pretty cool. I mean all the colors mixed and mixed and mixed. And it turned out good. To me it looks warm and fuzzy. =o)
Here are the ones that didn't make the cut. I made a few of them before I picked this one.

This statement from the Christians is just plain stupid. This shows how small minded they really are.
So if I chose to be gay then ...
I wanted to be laughed at in school?
I wanted to be the joke they were telling?
I wanted to be called names?
I wanted to be harassed?
I wanted to tell my parents I was Gay?
I wanted to be depressed?
I wanted to be cussed at?
I wanted to be talked about?
I wanted to be scared?
I wanted to listen to them?
I wanted to hear.....
I wanted to have people stare at me?
I wanted to have to look over my shoulder all the time?
I wanted to have two sets of friends?
I wanted to loose 90% of my straight friends?
I wanted to be in pain?
I wanted to cry for no reason?
I did not choose to be gay. I was born this way. No one in their right mind would choose to be gay and go through all this. This is the way I was made. It is no ones fault. I am me and I am unique!

2009 - Focusing My Site |
But the question is on what? What should I focus on?
For the past few months, I have been watching my stats really close, just to see what is being read.
What I found was under Label - Gay is my most viewed area.
I read on a few other blogs and sites that having your site focus on one thing only.
But honestly, I do not think that I can only focus on just one thing. Cause I know to much about many different things.
I do not however know every thing. I tend to learn something new every day.
I was truly surprised that, the label-Gay, was at the top of the list.
I was even more surprised that my article Confession was at the top of the list. I have had a few comments, and a few interesting responses, via - email and IM's.

Its February, I am so happy. We still have snow on the ground and the roofs, its still freezing. I am happy its February because that means spring is just around the corner. I enjoy the spring time. Flowers start coming out and things looks so fresh.
