The Doctor |
I have been having all kinds of troubles falling asleep. Panic attacks - 3 to 6 in a row. Its exausting. I went to the doctor to see if anything was wrong with me and she said I need to talk to a cancler. She said nothing physcle was wrong with me.
The doctor took her time with me, which I was very happy with. I am used to new doctors just look at you and push you out the door.
I will keep you posted on this.

The Bad Day |
Its funny really, I woke up in a good mood. I started my day like normal. I fixed a pot of coffee, took a shower, fixed a cup of coffee, sat down and started working. I worked until 1:30pm this afternoon.
I have been saving all my work in a program that is called SEO Notes. All the features are cool and work well with what I need. At 3pm, our meeting was getting ready to take place. I went to my computer and tried to start my program. It said not data. I thought wtf. I retried it. I even did a computer restart. Nothing. I lost over 3 weeks of work.
I wanted to scream. The boss was expecting a report on my progress, and I had to walk into the meeting with nothing. He asked where is the work, I told him what happened, and said he could fix the problem and recover my work. He went to my office and checked my computer. He was in my office for about 30 minutes and couldnt figure what happened to it. He said hes never seen anything like that. The file is there, and it shows where I modified it at 1:30pm.
So now I have to retrace all my steps. and try to retreave the information the old fashion way. Back to the drawing board.
I was not a happy camper, I was angry, I was sick, I was going nuts. All that work gone in a flash. No I didn't do a backup. I never had to in the past. But, now I will. No matter how small or big the file is.
I learned a hard lesson today.
I hope you had a great day,
Allen

I cannot believe I did that... |
For as long as I can remember, I have been working a full time job. I have worked all 3 shifts. I hated 3rd shift the most, but I loved 2nd shift. I dont like mornings or traffic with mornings.
I have for the past three months, been working from home. Blogging on this site, advertising PlayItOnTheWeb.com.
I have noticed a few things:
1. I work when I want to work - the internet has no time restrictions.
2. I dress as I want to dress - pj and t-shirt
3. I eat when I want to eat
4. If I feel sick - I stay in bed
5. If I want to take a few days off - I can (with out begging a boss)
6. I threw away my watch - I don't keep up with time.
7. Days of the week - I have to look it up to figure it out.
The other day, I went to out and about. I need to go shopping, etc. I couldn't figure out why, people was looking at me weird.
When I returned home. I figured it out. I went to the bathroom and walked by the mirror. I about screamed. My hair was bed head and greasy, my face- I hadn't shaved in 3 weeks. I looked ruff. My t-shirt had holes in them. My pants had holes and paint on them. My shoes were duct taped.
I have gotten used to wearing what ever around the house, and who cares what I look like. You the reader cant see me over the internet. But now, I have to watch what I wear in public. I have to stop before I walk out the door, to make sure I am dress right.
As far as being a Blogger, I love it.
Have a great day everyone,
Allen

Lost - 2nd Season |
I dont know if any of you have ever watched this show. I am sure its on T.V. somewhere. Since I dont own a T.V. then I had no clue it was there.
I was surfing the internet for something to watch, and I saw it on youtube. I searched for the old lost - I think the land of the lost.
I was glued to youtube for over a week watching as much of it as I could. Then it happened. There was no more videos of it. Nothing at all. I went to the local library and found the second season.
The second season had 6 dvd's. Again I was glued to the show. Now I am ready for season 3.
The plot of it was incredible. There were a couple of scenes, that Hurly said "I didnt see that coming". I really like Jack, hes alright. The others are nuts. And I cannot believe that Michael did that to his new friends. But if I was in his shoes I guess I might have done the same. Locke is weird - I dont think in real life that we would be friends. He seems to act a bit pushy for my taste. Rose and Benard are sweet. I cryed when they met each other again. Syed is hot. Wow what a man.
Anyways have a great day everyone.

Very Long Weekend - The Weather was Increadible |
July 3rd
This was a very long weekend. We left on Thursday night and had a 2 1/2 hour drive to Lake Shaffer. The trip there was quiet, I don't even remember any cops on the road all the way there. We went up I-65 to Brookstone and then it was country roads the rest of the way.
Once there, we started unloading the Jeep. I cannot believe how much stuff you can pack in a Jeep. We stayed in a cabin, it had 4 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and a screened in porch.
The cabin had to be cleaned, the owner said he had not opened it this year. We had to vacuum the carpet, put clean sheets on all the beds, clean all the cob webs down and open it up.
When everyone got there, we fixed dinner, hamburgers and hot dogs. We all sat around the rest of the night just talking. Or that is the way it started. Someone I don't remember who, but they said frizbee. So we 6 of us was up playing frizbee until 4am. The neighbors were close, and we hit their cabin a couple of times. One of the guys yelled out the window that we sucked at playing frizbee.
July 4th
This was the first day in a very long time that I slept in. It was almost 1pm when I got up. Some were still in bed, others was fixing coffee and preparing breakfast. After breakfast was finished and all the dishes was cleaned we all headed to the lake. The lake was a 1/2 of a city block from the cabin. It was still on the owners property. When we got to the lake, the owner of the property, had built a deck on top of boat lift. So if your standing on the dock it was 7 feet in the air. The stairs leading up to it, was rocky, it swayed just a little, but not bad.
On top there was a table and chairs. You could see a long ways down the river/lake. It looked like a river, but it was part of the lake.
Here are a few pictures that I took. As you can see the sun was bright.
When we got back we went back to the lake, and up on the deck. We talked and played games the rest of the night.
When the night rolled around, we took off for Indiana Beach. Indiana Beach had a very nice fireworks display. The only thing I didn't like was the music playing. They played the same song over and over. Born in the USA. I sped up this video, cause of a family was cussing next to me.
When we got back we went back to the lake, and up on the deck. We talked and played games the rest of the night.
July 5th
When everyone got up and we all started moving around, we headed for the lake, 3 of us went to the top of the deck while the rest jumped into the lake. The weather was again beautiful, the sun was shinning and no humidity. The 3 that went to the deck, played scrabble, it was a tight game, I came in 3rd, but I figured that, I don't really like the game, I am not good with words and spelling. But I play so that I can learn.
After we was done with the game, it was hot, we 3 went and jumped into the lake as well. We had to go down to the dock to do so, the water is really sallow under the deck. 2' at most.
We all was in the water, we all splashed, and threw the frisbees around. No dunking happened thank god. We spent hours and hours in the lake.
After everyone got out, one of the guys, grabbed his towel and headed to the cabin, then another, and another. By the time I got my shower it was 9pm. 8 people had to shower, and the hot water heater was a little one. The water wasn't hot, but it was warm. When we was done with dinner, we headed back to the deck. We played a game of poker while the fireworks was still going off. These was from the east of us. I am not sure if it was just people shooting them off or a company.

I Hate Mowing Grass with a push mower. But I love my John Deere |

Today was the day, it had to be done. I didn't want to do it, but omg, it was nasty looking. I haven't mowed in about 3 weeks. There is one thing I know, I hate to mow grass.
Mowing grass is hard work if you do it right. Weeding, and mowing.
My John Deere is the best, its a 1972 model. It also can be fitted with a very large snow blower. I wish I had for the winter months.
